Embroidery
Embroidery refers to the branding of garments using needle and thread. This is a machine-based process in which a logo or design is first digitised into a format readable by the embroidery machine, allowing the design to be stitched automatically onto the garment.
As more intricate embroidery can present certain technical limitations, our team is happy to review your artwork in advance and advise on feasibility to ensure the best possible outcome through our manufacturing partners.

Fit & dimensions
In clothing design, a “pattern” refers to a set of dimensions which is used to construct a garment. A trained pattern cutter draws a paper template, referred to as the master pattern, which is kept on record. The master pattern is laid onto fabric before the individual panels are cut out and assembled.

Pantone color matching
We source fabric in its raw, unwashed and uncoloured form which means that it can be dyed to match your exact requirements. At E.M C we use the Pantone system, which is a standardised, code based system used in many industries. Using Pantone codes, we can control the exact measures of dye and achieve consistent, reliable colour matching.finishing options.

Custom fabric
Fabric affects the function, comfort and lifespan of a garment and is one of the most important elements when creating clothing. As part of our commitment to quality we source only the highest quality yarns from our vast network of reputable textile mills. We understand that some customers seek fabrics which are more unique than those available in stock and are well suited to developing and innovating new fabrics which are totally custom to your brand.

Tags & badges
Tags & Branding garments with a custom casted metal or textile enamel badge adds an extra level of brand reinforcement. Created from a range of materials and in a selection of colours and finishes such as polished, brushed, gilded, antique, matte, silky or high-gloss. Badges can be branded via deboss, emboss or laser engraving, and die casted into custom shapes if required.

Your questions answered
What is your minimum order quantity?
At E.M Customs, we do not impose a minimum order quantity requirement as we do not operate as a supplier. Instead, our focus is on connecting clients with the right manufacturers to meet their specific needs. Suppliers, on the other hand, typically have MOQs, but these can vary greatly between suppliers. To ensure the best results, we match the size of the client’s order with the appropriate manufacturer – small orders go to small manufacturers, medium-sized orders to medium-sized manufacturers, and large orders to well-established factories. This approach guarantees the optimal alignment of client requirements with the capabilities of the manufacturer.
How is your clothing produced?
Each item of clothing produced is carefully cut and stitched by hand, with each garment undergoing four stages of quality control to ensure they meet the high standards of our customers.
First, we look at your technical specifications. If you don’t have any clothing designs, we can help you create them. When an order is placed, we make a pre production sample for your approval. After you have approved your designs, we proceed to bulk manufacturing.
When we source fabric for your order it is checked for defects. The bulk fabric is then cut to your pattern, grading is carried out and sewing of the panels commences. In the final stages, trim and hardware is added.
When your order is complete and has been quality checked for a final time, it is dispatched for delivery via our network of global couriers.
